available on physical CD-ROMs or as a digital download. There are pros and
cons for each that I want you to be aware of to help you decide. Since I
recommend the CD-ROMs, I'll start with the cons of the download version.
The cons for the download version are... they are big files... up to
100mb in fact, because of all the video. You must have a high speed
Internet connection to download these files successfully. If you have
dial-up and you let it download over night, chances are that something
will go wrong during the few hours it takes to download and you'll have
to make several attempts until it works correctly. File corruption is
the number one culprit. Once the courses are successfully downloaded to
your computer, they need to be installed. (very simple though). Also,
the download versions are password protected. You have to be sure that
you never lose the password if you ever want to re-install the courses.
For that matter, you also need to be sure that you never lose the setup
files. I encourage students to burn them to a CD for safe keeping in
